I am a U.S. citizen living abroad, married to my Belgian spouse, and now a dual citizen of Belgium. A registered Democrat and voter since 1991, I have spent decades advocating for equality, dignity, and human rights.
As an active gay rights advocate, I support Marriage Equality, LGBTQ+ protections, and HIV/AIDS awareness. I am also a committed supporter of reproductive freedom, including pro‑choice and women’s reproductive rights.
My work and values center on equality, democracy, justice reform, and the belief in equal justice under the law. I stand firmly for human rights, freedom, and the ongoing work of building a more inclusive society.
I am an open‑minded spiritual person, a Liberal Progressive Christian, and a member of the Episcopal Church—rooted in faith, compassion, and in our Baptismal vow to strive for justice and peace among all people.
